"Fantastic time learning to throw pots with Rob - a great morning of stories and learning how to use the wheel. Both of us had a grand time and were amazed at what we made in only a morning. Looking forward to eating our cereal out of our bowls already!"

"Simply a wonderful experience. Having never held clay before, let alone considered throwing it, Rob was an excellent instructor with boundless enthusiasm, passion and encouragement. Our
Clay
We collect our clay locally, sourcing it from the same high-quality materials used by the renowned Leach Pottery. Provided by the Doble family in St. Agnes, this clay is celebrated as the finest in Craft Cornwall.

Our
Glaze
Our glazes are crafted from locally sourced materials, expertly forged and found in our community. We utilise both natural products and byproducts from various processes, carefully refining them in our studio to create our unique glazes. This approach not only enhances sustainability but also contributes to the distinct character of each piece.
Some of the materials include waste tailings from Cornish granite quarries, calcium derived from local seashells, and ash from local plants that have been burned in wood-fired processes.

Our
Studio
Every step of the process—creating, glazing, and firing—is expertly carried out in our own studio.
